Now that we’ve introduced ourselves, we would like to meet a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Rome, Milan, or Full Remote.

 

The person will join a team dedicated to the design and implementation of technological solutions in Data Integration & Migration and Data Management & Analytics, with a focus on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

 

The person will have the opportunity to:

• Tackle new technological challenges through projects that innovate traditional businesses and enable Data Culture and Data-Driven Strategy for clients.
• Be actively involved in the entire solution lifecycle.
• Design and develop Cloud data architectures, both IoT and Data Warehouse.
• Work with the support of modern methodologies and tools (DevOps and Agile).

 

Our ideal candidates:

 

We are looking for proactive and highly motivated people who have:

• At least 2 years of experience in the role.
• Knowledge of at least two of the following tools from the Azure Data Platform:
  • Azure Data Lake
  • Azure Data Factory
  • SQL Azure Database
  • Synapse Analytics
  • Cosmos DB

 

• Familiarity with the fundamental concepts of data structure design and data models, as well as the ability to identify technological solutions based on client needs.
• Skills and expertise in creating data movement and processing flows and workflows.
• A degree in engineering or scientific subjects.
• Good written and spoken English skills.

 

Essential requirements:

• Knowledge of the Databricks platform or the Apache Spark framework in general.

Preferred requirements:

• In-depth basic knowledge of the Azure Cloud platform and its main storage services.
• Experience in Analytics and Reporting solutions with Business Intelligence tools.
• Microsoft Azure Certification DP-203 or similar.
